Peter is the Managing Director of DAS and was formerly the Chief Executive of HVR Consulting Services.
He has over 30 years experience of working for industry and government, with the last 25 years a management consultant specialising in the evaluation of major equipment programmes during the early stages of the procurement life cycle.
He has undertaken a wide range of Risk Management Assignments, Programme Management Assessment and undertaken the evaluation of Whole Life Cycle (WLC) costs for a wide range of UK and overseas equipment and major procurement programmes ranging in value from less than £10,000 through to values well above £1B.
After a brief spell in the Royal Navy Stuart spent 35 years with Lloyds Banking Group and gained a wide range of experience in branch management and overseas work throughout Europe and South America.
The larger part of Stuarts career has seen him managing teams and offices responsible for businesses of all types and sizes, ranging from start up to international companies. Since leaving Lloyds in 2009 he has worked as a consultant for a number of diverse businesses ranging from Standard and Poor’s to Sports Clubs.
Stuart’s interests include Rugby where he is a qualified coach, badminton, diving, skiing and motor cars. He has always retained his interest in defence. He is responsible for finance, administration and Human Resources.
Carly has been working in the defence industry since receiving her history degree from University of Wales Swansea.
Over the course of her career, she has provided both technical and project management skills into a wide variety of projects for the defence industry, MoD and other government departments.
Her research and analytical skills enable her to provide high quality data, both quantitative and qualitative, and logical, concise analysis to inform and support studies and decision making processes.
Chris received his technical training courtesy of the Royal Navy, gaining a BSc at the Royal Naval Engineering College and a post graduate diploma in Nuclear Reactor Technology from the Royal Naval College, Greenwich.
After 10 years service as a Marine Engineering Officer, Chris has been involved, since 1989, in delivering management consultancy services to a wide variety of clients.
He has been responsible as Project Manager for the delivery of risk, project management and technical due diligence support to a number of major programmes for clients world-wide. These clients have encompassed the oil, gas, power generation, nuclear, construction and defence industries.
Chris is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and qualified as a Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute.
Dave has worked as a management consultant specialising in business modelling, strategy and decision sciences for 12 years.
He has practiced across industrial sectors including defence and aerospace, energy, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods.
His defence sector consulting has included the creation of novel support cost estimation tools now used extensively by the US Navy, developing balance of investment models to prioritise research and effectiveness modelling of future equipment options.
Outside defence, his application of Systems Thinking and System Dynamics business modelling approaches has supported strategy studies for a number of £1Bn+ global brands.
He holds a BSc and PhD in physics from Bristol University, an MSc in Management Science from Warwick Business School.
